点评：I think there is real potential here, but our experience fell a bit short of wonderful. As mentioned in the previous review, the bathrooms were a constant problem all weekend. It will be surprising to me if a facility like this can handle the kind of traffic they are inviting with flush toilets. Most other bigger campsites I’ve seen for this sort of thing rely on Porta potties. While that’s not as good as a toilet, it’s a whole lot better than toilet that don’t work.
It’s not their fault that hurricane Debbie doused the whole place just prior to the weekend. But I think the site needs to be landscaped, or more money needs to be invested in infrastructure to create walking paths that drain. In the woods, where we were camping, most of the pathways turned into ankle deep mud on the first day.
Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, but it seemed really disorganized at times. At one point, we went to move our car, and were fairly rudely yelled at by two different people who contradicted each other as to where we should be putting the car. Also, there was online info that said the buses would run starting at 4 PM every day to the venue, but when my friend went at four to meet some friends there, buses weren’t operating yet, and he had to wait over an hour before they brought him there.
Overall, they are making an effort to provide a fun, relaxed, and easy-going party atmosphere for show goers. It seemed like they invested a lot of money in the before, and after music, and in setting up the vending area, but the main dish, the camping, is not well supported. In my opinion, this is backwards. Provide a working, convenient, comfortable place to stay as a first priority, Then invest your money in amenities like aftershow parties.
I would have to think hard before choosing to stay there again.
