Mouldy matresses and frames

点评：We booked a Monday to Friday dog friendly cottage this week.
On arrival we visited the Hive whilst we waiting to check in. There were around 5 empty tables that needed to be cleared. We went through the arcade used the toilets and returned, waited around 10 mins and asked a member of staff to clear the table only to be met with an attitude. I eventually cleaned up myself.
We then checked into the cottage from the off there was a funny smell. Thank goodness we checked the mattresses in the twin room before the boys went to bed. The mattresses and bedframes were all mouldy and had clearly been in this state for some time. A mattress protector was covering the health hazard which lies beneath. The floors were absolutely disgusting given this had just been cleaned.
We were moved immediately by security that evening to an emergency cottage as there was no one available to deal with it until the morning. The following morning we were offered a £50 voucher to use at Ribby hall. Quite frankly I find that incredibly insulting giving that both myself and my son suffer from severe asthma and the consequences had he slept on the mattress could have been severe! This was then upped to £150 off a further break… which we would not use as I’d never return.
We returned home after 1 night in the emergency cottage and have been refunded 75% of the stay. Ribby hall I would like the rest as this is absolutely appalling. Photos and videos have already been shared with management when we spoke.
