Great first family camping trip

点评：First ever family camping trip to Elie. It was fantastic and we'd definitely come back again. Tent pitches were fine, electric hook up, plenty of space and camping on grass. Didn't feel as though we were crammed in or with other tents on top of us despite it being fully booked.
Park is right at Shell Bay beach, has a good kids play area, arcade, shop, restaurant, cafe and bar/entertainment space with pool table, darts and big screen TV showing sport. We also arrange for kids to go rock pooling with a Countryside Ranger which was great fun. Also the evening entertainment provided in the bar was superb and my kids (4 & 6) had a wonderful time.
The toilet and shower block has plenty of cubicles as well as a dish washing space and laundry.
My only, relatively minor, complaint would be the restaurant is so busy and needs to be booked in advance and isn't open at all on a Wednesday night. At the same time the cafe next door didn't serve hot food until 4:30pm which meant a bit of waiting about with hungry kids one day.
