Everards Brewery Tour的点评
点评：When I originally tried to book my Everards tour online with a voucher my son had given me for my Birthday, I couldn’t get it to complete on the online booking platform so I called them. Immediately and I feel unusually for these sorts of situations I could sense the nature and culture of the business that I was dealing with. The desire to help in as uncomplicated a way as possible was so refreshing (and I need to say at this point that both ladies that I spoke to were absolutely charming as well). So the day came and as a fan of ‘Old Original’ I was really looking forward to my tour. Getting there was easy as was parking. I was met in the shop by Charlie who was to be our guide, (the companys youngest brewer) whose enthusiasm and knowledge made him a perfect ambassador for the business. This is not a Budweiser or Carlsberg experience. This is a 170yr old family business with a small, dedicated and expert staff. Everything felt very personal. At the end of the tour we were greeted with 3 samples of Everards beers that I’d not tried before to see us on our way - very enjoyable; and then on my way out of the door I felt compelled to stop in the shop and utilise the 15% discount that tour attendees get, on a 5 litre keg of Tiger to be enjoyed at our family BBQ next weekend. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon - Thank you - I’ve sold the idea of a walk around the Meadow followed by lunch to my wife so we’ll see you again soon!
