Shame BC Parks for not fixing ticketing

点评：First of all, shame on BC Parks. They’ve been made aware, multiple times, that tickets for the trail are snagged by bots and then resold (many posters on FB offering tickets for $10… any day and any quantity you want). This is sad and shameful - BC Parks created a broken system and pretends the issue doesn’t exist.
The trail itself is easy and very nice - but I don’t really understand why it’s so hyped up. I hiked up to the Wegmont Lake the following day and that was far better - a real stunner. Don’t get me wrong, Joffre Lakes are nice but they’re nothing like Lake Louise in Banff…
Some datapoints now… the tickets for the trail are only checked starting from 7am. If you arrive earlier, no one checks them. They’re not checked when you leave the trail either… Just saying…
