Kalahari Safaris - Desert Explorers的点评
点评：Nearly two months after our 7 day Kgalagadi/Augrabies safari in October 2025, my husband and I are still enjoying reflecting on this trip. It was an exceptional experience, enhanced by Lizmarie's efficiency in booking our accommodation and organising the tour, and by the outstanding attributes of our guide, Jakes.
We cannot speak highly enough of Jakes. He was always extremely considerate of our needs, and went out of his way to ensure our trip was comfortable and rich in game viewing opportunities. Jakes shared his extensive knowledge of the history, geology, flora and fauna of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Augrabies, and Upington area - we learned so much from him. Jakes is also an excellent cook! He thoughtfully overcame the challenge of catering to our low-gluten dietary requirement in an area with limited options and spoiled us with unfailingly delicious, healthy meals every day. To top it all, Jakes is wonderful company and a thoroughly nice person to spend time with.
All the camps we visited were efficiently-run, the shops well-stocked, and the accommodation clean and comfortable. We stayed at the Kalahari Tented Camp, Twee Rivieren, Nossob, and Augrabies. Hard to pick a favourite, but it probably would be Nossob - for the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful sunrises, starry night skies, and plentiful game sightings. Additional highlights were our stops at Ashkam, Kakamas, and Die Mas.
For us, this was the trip of a lifetime (although we are determined to do it again). We would not hesitate to recommend it!
