点评：We have just returned our Hilux to Aloe and we already miss it!
Aloe 4x4 Car Hire isn’t just a rental it’s a place where you find great, professional people and loads of useful suggestions for your Namibian trip.
My girlfriend and I choose the automatic model with the VIP hard shell pop up rooftop tent. We would indeed go again down this path.
Roads in Namibia can be tricky and an automatic vehicle helps a lot if you’re not a well-experienced driver. The pop up tent is really comfortable as you can get it ready in a matter of a couple of minutes. You can also leave the sleeping bags and the pillows (which are already provided) on top of the car without bothering every morning to re-arrange the bedding.
We were in a 20-day journey and we got a car that we could fully trust. We also got the windshield and the tyres insurance. Luckily, thanks to the great conditions of the initial tyres and to a regular driving style (which Surita recommended us) we have never punctured.
Everything needed was provided such as kitchenware, table and chairs, a compressor, everything needed for on road punctures and sand issues, and of course bedding stuff.
We choose to rent a satellite phone which we have never needed, but better safe than sorry. The network in Namibia is still developing and there are really many places without connection.
We felt nothing was left out.
Surita has always been very reactive to all our questions and very accommodating to each single request we’ve made.
Before leaving our country for Namibia, she even gave us a useful list of things to pack.
We would definitely recommend Aloe to anyone that’s looking for a comfortable and crazy adventure in Namibia.
