点评：We absolutely loved our ghost tour experience in Castine! Matt was a phenomenal guide—equal parts storyteller, historian, and host. He didn’t just spin ghostly tales; he brought Castine’s rich history to life with fascinating, well-researched insights that made every stop on the tour feel alive with character (and a few chills).
My husband and I have taken several ghost tours over the years, but this one truly stood out for its authenticity and depth. What makes it exceptional is the heart and effort behind it. When Matt and his partner took over the charming Pentagoet Inn, they dove deep into historical archives and gathered local lore through crowd-sourced stories—resulting in a beautifully balanced blend of facts and folklore.
One of the highlights? Ending the tour at The Mister Pub at the Pentagoet Inn, where we were treated to a complimentary “ghoulish” cocktail—such a fun and thoughtful touch. Having just arrived in Castine the night before, this was the perfect way to discover a local gem and meet fellow travelers.
