Better Than Europe – An Experience I Never Expected to Find in America

点评：I spent three nights alone in the Grand Tower View Room, and I can honestly say that Smithmore Castle exceeded every expectation I had.
As someone who has traveled extensively throughout Europe and stayed in historic estates, castles, and luxury hotels, I expected Smithmore to be charming. What I did not expect was to be completely blown away. The décor was more beautiful, more authentic, and more memorable than many of the places I visited overseas. Every room felt thoughtfully curated, elegant, and filled with character. Nothing felt commercial or ordinary.
My suite was simply extraordinary. Having my own private balcony overlooking the mountains and access to a tower felt like living in a fairytale. I spent hours enjoying the views, which were absolutely jaw-dropping. Every sunrise and sunset seemed more spectacular than the last.
What truly made the stay exceptional was that it was so much more than just a room. The included meals, activities, and hospitality transformed the experience into something that felt almost dreamlike. There was always something special to enjoy, yet everything remained peaceful and relaxing.
My favorite part of the entire stay was Afternoon Tea. It was elegant, delicious, and beautifully presented. Sitting in such magnificent surroundings while enjoying tea made me feel as though I had stepped into another era.
Smithmore Castle is not comparable to any other place I have visited. It is entirely its own experience. It combines the grandeur of a European estate with a level of warmth, hospitality, and exclusivity that is incredibly rare to find anywhere.
I arrived looking for a quiet getaway and left with memories I will cherish forever. Three nights was not enough, and I am already planning my return.
