点评：When I started planning this trip, there were so many companies to look at… After receiving a personal recommendation to look into access to Tanzania and reading about them in the lonely planet guidebook I decided to book a call… Karen at access was so incredibly knowledgable and made the planning of our trip so easy. Each step of the way we received updates… for example how far out to apply for our visa, how to apply for our mandatory Zanzibar health insurance, etc. We had a call the week before we flew out to go over last minute plans. When we arrived, we were picked up at the airport and from that moment on any needs we had were 100% met. Our Guide, Gerald Johnson was amazing. We got to know him over the next 11 days And he sat with us at every meal… Told us about Tanzanian history and traditions, taught us a little Swahili, and each day checked in to find out what we needed or wanted to do. He made sure that the vehicle was fully stocked with the drinks of our choice And the condition of the Access2Tanzania vehicles were great! The other guides with access were incredibly friendly and we would meet up along the way and they always stopped to say hi and check in. we got to see so many amazing animals in their own environment. One night we were feeling tired, so Gerry drove us to a watering hole, and we just sat and watched instead of driving. It was probably my favourite moment of just watching. The watering hole was full of animals and then in the distance I heard of elephants came towards the watering hole in a line. The other animals quickly moved out of the way, except for one. The first elephant in line quickly moved the animal out of the way to allow full water access to their family.. the other animals waited patiently for the herd of elephants to move on. We have so many stories from this amazing holiday. We stayed in some beautiful tented camps. And i cant say enough good things about Gerald Johnson and the Access 2 Tanzania team.
