We are traveling as a couple and I booked 2 "full body" massages of 90 minutes, for my wife and me. What a surprise when we arrived and the boss appointed himself to massage my wife… 😳
in a country where custom is strict on this subject. We ask that it be a woman, the boss complies.
After 15 minutes of massage the man chats on the phone while he massages me, same experience for my wife, the woman who massages her answers the phone twice and chats while massaging. After 30 minutes we decide to shorten the session. When it was time to pay for the 30-minute session, I discovered that the equivalent of 70,000 rupees was missing from my wallet. (Before the session my bag was left with the massager during my visit to the toilet). We ask to speak to the boss who brings in the masseur and his wife, we will not succeed.
In short, tourists we are not suspicious enough so be careful 😉
