Te Fare Natura的点评
点评：I highly recommend a visit to Te Fare Natura - l'ecomusée. This museum was opened in 2021 and its name means House of Nature. I was invited to play the Polynesian musical instruments, including the Pahu, a drum from the Marquesas. I also enjoyed two Virtual Reality experiences--one under the water in Mo'orea and the other flying over the Papenoo Valley in Tahiti. One highlight was Naturoscope, a room with underwater images projected on three sides plus the floor. There were aquariums of different marine environments. Another exhibit told the geological history of the islands. Still another exhibit focused on the 3rd gender in Polynesian culture.
I spent an hour and a half in the museum. When I was finished, I asked the museum attendants to call a taxi for me to take me back to my hotel.
