点评：Paul Turyagumanawe was so helpful in helping me to organise a trip for five people, starting with a visit to our clinic project in SW Uganda and finishing with two nights / 3 days at Akagera Safari Park in Rwanda. He came highly recommended by friends from Kisiizi Hospital and we were so grateful. He collected us from Kigali airport, arriving on time in a safe vehicle with seat belts. He then helped us across the Katuna border crossing, ensuring that all aid got through. He was then kind enough to stop off at Kabale so that we could meet friends for lunch and use the ATM. Then we were safely delivered to our accommodation in Rwentobo, dropping off Aid at the clinic en route.
Sadly, Paul became unwell with flu so was unable to collect us from Rwentobo at the end of our 12 days there, to take us to Akagera Gmae Park. However, he promptly informed us that he would be sending an alternative driver and guide, who arrived a wonderful land cruiser, ideal for our Safari visit. Matiya was fantastic and looked after us so well. He was very organised and ensured we arrived on time for the sunset boat trip which was beautiful, seeing hippos, crocodiles and lovely birds. Day 2 was an all day game drive with an extra guide from the site and many animals were enjoyed, including rhinos, hippos, zebra, antelope, monitor lizards etc. Day 3 was an early morning game drive with just Matiya, when a delightful family of rhinos were seen. Soon we will sadly he making our way to Kigali, for our flight where we will say a sad farewell to Matiya. Thank you so much to Paul Turyagumanawe for organising everything and caring for us so well.
