点评:Everything we had expected! It was a sunny but bitter cold day with blowing wind and we had been warned by Captain Patrick to dress warm. The Camp is tucked away in the hamlet of Uncertain but GPS got us there no problem. We were handed aboard the pontoon boat to find we two were the only passengers. Captain Patrick guided us out thru the maze of bald cypress and Spanish moss, suddenly we were in dreamland! No sound but the soft chug of the motor and occasional osprey cry. An hour and a half of moving thru watery pathways and out into the main body of Caddo Lake. Captain narrated the story of the Lake and how the Caddo native Americans lived, the origin of the cypress trees, what the knobby knees are all about, the species of birds and mammals present, and more. Then sometimes we just cruised and listened to the silence. It was a wonderful tour! I highly recommend.
