点评：We just got back from a week in Rangiroa staying at the Kia Ora, and three full days of diving with Blue Velvet. If you're planning to dive in Rangiroa, do not hesitate to book with Blue Velvet. Every aspect was seamless, professional, well organized, safe, with a great group of kind, fun, enthusiastic dive professionals that love what they are doing.
Booking via email was easy, concierge care and storage of personal dive equipment was organized and great, we never lifted a weighted BC with a cylinder our entire stay, and they kept all our gear clean and ready for the next dive, waiting on the zodiac for us upon arrival for each dive! The guides are awesome in every respect, understand the conditions and sites, and they prioritize safety always.
And of course the diving was phenomenal. To put it in perspective, on ONE dive alone, we encountered a manta ray, eagle rays, hundreds of sharks (literally), dolphins, turtles, and every tropical fish you can imagine, including huge moray eels and a stone fish. All amongst vast, healthy, colorful, large and dense hard coral formations.
Pro-Tip: unlike the US and Caribbean, they are diving 15 liter cylinders, and the weighting is in Kilos, thus trust what they tell you, you need in terms of weight. If I had not listened and followed my own math, I would have been WAY over-weighted.
Every team member was wonderful, and we just have to give a special thanks and shout-out to Vincent and Pauline!
