Excellent birding day around the Po Delta

点评：My husband and I went birding with Menotti around the Po Delta in mid-April and had an absolutely fantastic day! Menotti's knowledge of local birds and wildlife is truly impressive – he has such a deep understanding of natural history and bird behavior that really enhanced our entire experience.
We explored an incredible variety of habitats throughout the area, from expansive grasslands to riparian zones, marshlands, and estuaries. The timing was perfect as migrating birds were just starting to arrive, and we were treated to some amazing sightings including Bee-eaters, Eurasian Spoonbills, Squacco Herons, and White Storks, among many other highlights.
One thing that really stood out was Menotti's expertise with gulls – he made identifying those notoriously tricky species look easy! Beyond his technical knowledge, Menotti is genuinely wonderful to spend time with – kind, easy to talk to, and clearly passionate about what he does. With decades of experience under his belt, he has such a wealth of knowledge about birds and wildlife in general.
