Away from the crowds of Bir and Barot finally!!!!!!!!!

点评：So i had one weekend and a Monday holiday with me, did not want to go to Barot with multiple tourists also Bir Billing had become too much accessible for tourists now (i am from Himachal only), so talked to my friends and learnt about Rajgunda valley downhill from Billing, so took my vcross from Delhi picked up my friends on the way and headed non stop to Rajgunda valley, so take the usual route till Bir and then narrow roads till Billing (30 Rs fees) and enjoy the take off site from Billing, but dont overstay start straight ahead(there is only one road), its totally offroad but i saw hatchbacks also there, this road is still not on google maps, if you search for Rajgunda,google maps will direct you via Barot and badagaran,dont fall for that,this road is newly constructed (earlier it was a trekking route),so within 1 hour you will reach Rajgunda downhill so you can stay at Zostel in Rajgunda or go a little down the road to 360 degree adventure (new property) in Kukurgunda (i stayed here because vehicle is in front of property, zostel is far down the hill and vehicle lies desolate on the road), after that took off for Palachak Valley from there going is a little tiresome but coming back its ok, total 18 km (to & fro), we did it in 5 hrs with breaks but the best part is, just absolutely mesmerising views, we had not a single tourist with us, on the trek too we had one single group who were going to stay there in Palachak (it can be done in a single day provided you start early and no rain), enjoyed the trout, sunset, rajmah chawal were yummy and in the evening sitting besides the Uhl river and enjoying the raw flow (no river in bir and in barot the hydroelectric project tames the river,plus the tourists), for those who want peace and are ready for silence,isolation and being with nature, please come here via this route, those who want to do cafe hopping,try bir and those who want a little luxury go to barot, rajgunda is not for cafe hoppers,evening music fests and luxury seekers, i will share the no of Mr Nand Lal ji, who can assist you,feel free to ask ( Palachal - Panartu - thamsar pass - Bada Bhangal),enjoy 👍
