点评:Went on a family hike here while staying in Las Terrenas. Tips:
- The hike up (including shallow river crossings at the beginning) is totally manageable for anyone in even remotely decent shape.
- Don't take the horses - you can do it!
- At the beginning of the hike (El Cafe route) the trail appears to end at the river, just down from where you pay the park entrance fee. Cross and go to the right (upstream) and you'll see the trail easily from there.
- Don't worry about getting lost. Just follow the horse prints (and other things commonly left behind by horses).
- You'll be asked repeatedly if you'd like to hire a guide. The guy who followed us around said it was not possible to do the hike without a guide...which is not true.
- If you're coming from Terrenas, take the guagua (public transit bus/van). It's cheap and fun!

- 如果你是从 Terrenas 出发,乘坐 guagua(公共交通巴士/面包车)。
