点评：What an amazing trip!!! You HAVE to visit Perú. We just returned a week ago and it was certainly one of the most exciting trips, filled with unforgettable memories.
Planning a trip to South America isn’t easy. We were recommended to contact Lizbeth at Auri Perú by a friend who had taken a trip a couple of years ago during spring time (most ideal time) in the USA. Although we decided to go during the month of December, Lizbeth made it happen with an extraordinary itinerary and thoughtful organization/ coordination of various aspects of our trip.
We spent a total of a week and visited Lima, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. Right from the very beginning of the trip planning I could tell the Lizbeth was extremely knowledgeable and truly excited to help us have the best experience. The countless WhatsApp messages and phone conversations and changes to our itineraries never bothered her and every time my ans changed she came back with an even better suggestion/ recommendation.
I cannot THANK HER enough to make sure that my family got a reservation at the Centrál restaurant (rated #1 on the ‘50 Best restaurants in the world’ list for 2023) on the day of my 25th wedding anniversary. She is the best.
Our family likes to experience different cuisines, a bit of history, not much hiking but likes a bit of adventure. Lizbeth planned the trip to the last bit of detail to fit my family’s need. We had a mix of everything with some much needed time for relaxation as well.
The tour guides she works with are amazing people. Special thanks to Nieves and Caesar in Lima and Dimas and Jaime in Cusco for making our trip enjoyable! Each one of them went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and ensuring our comfort throughout the trip. You could tell that they were so proud of their rich Peruvian culture and their excitement helped us really absorb it and enjoy it as much as possible.
2 special notes -
1. if your family is interested in a gourmet food tour in Lima please ask Lizbeth to hook you up with Patricia Vasquez at Lima Gourmet Company. You will thoroughly enjoy that experience!
2. If you plan to stay in Cusco for a few days, please as Lizbeth to recommend you the hotels that have the ability to pump oxygen into your room. The altitude sickness is a real thing and I cannot thank her enough to book us in a boutique hotel that had the ability for the much needed additional oxygen.
Overall we had an incredible trip and all I can say is although we chose the destination, Lizbeth really made sure we thoroughly enjoyed her beautiful country!!!
