The highlight of my Patagonia trip—two unforgettable rides with Juan!

点评：I did two rides with Juan at Cimarron Travel, and they were the highlight of my trip to Patagonia in October 2026!
The first was a five-hour ride with my partner, who has less riding experience. Juan tailored the experience so we could both enjoy it, riding through beautiful forest, along the river, and up to a viewpoint overlooking the Río Serrano valley. It was such a special way to experience the Patagonia scenery together.
I then did a full-day solo ride to the Paine Grande lookout, which was a dream. Long stretches of cantering through Patagonia, surrounded by incredible views made the ride an experience I’ll never forget. If you love riding, I highly recommend making time for a full day.
Juan is so kind and knowledgeable, and he made both rides feel personal. His attention and care made a real difference, and even the delicious lunches he prepared were great! He’s also a great photographer/videographer! It takes skill to film someone while at a full canter! 😂
Whether you’re an experienced rider or have barely spent time on a horse, I highly recommend riding with Juan. I’m already hoping to come back and see him and the horses again soon!
