Do not rent Inn at Rodanthe...Unsafe house, as well as beach!

点评：My fam arrived excited for our beach vaca only to arrive at our beach house that shouldn't even be able to rent at this point until major repairs are done.
I would rate a 0 if I could. We rented through SurforSound, and no one alerted us to the dangers of this beach house or the beach situation.
We've been going to the outer banks for years. We get there and there's a 5 foot drop to get to the beach with no real safe access for our little ones, plus very little beach due to the erosion. We get ocean front for easy access. You couldn't keep your chairs and umbrellas set up when high tide came in. Couldn't keep your things out on the beach for very long.
Then, a warning sign of swimming in the water due to possible septic leakage.
To the left and right, there's debri from all the houses that have fallen into the ocean.
House had black mold at the vent, which they spackled over, which just masks the issue.
It looked like the tower room ceiling had been spackled to mask mold, as well. Tower room had condensation dripping water droplets every so often on to the bed due to poor insulation and venting.
The glass doors to one of the bathtubs were in need of repair and didn't work correctly and had mold.
Another bathtub had mold which you could see permanent stains of it dripping down.
Dishwasher didn't work at all. Which, we're a pretty big family when we all get together. We had to wash all our dishes by hand, which consumed alot of our time.
The clothes washer worked but sounded like a jet engine every time was on spin cycle. You could hear it all through out the house.
It was not a pleasant experience, but we made the best of it.
Tried to post on SurforSound, and it never posted. Only 2 raving reviews which have to be fake.
