Lots of thought and planning has gone into making Byres Farm a safe, fun, and educational place to visit with an area featuring animals which can be fed. Byres Farm embraces the seasons, and their fun activities reflect the tasks which take place across the site.
Casual visitors can enjoy three informative walks around the farm (including a non-alcoholic whisky trail) without having to book - all other sessions need to be booked in advance, online.
For young kids, the play zones are full of opportunities for them to be creative in fun environments - there's even a fake cow to milk.
Older kids will enjoy perfecting their football skills with special targets, and practicing archery with sucker-arrows.
Everyone loves feeding the animals: you get a bag of feed with your ticket, but you will need more because these guys are all so cute! Who can resist a pygmy goat or a Highland Cow?
