点评：This tour was EXTRAORDINARY. Everything was AUTHENTIC: the people, the landscapes, the cooking!
We spent 4 days in the desert, followed by 4 days on the mountains.
We were surprised by the care the Bedouins display, especially when it comes to cooking full, multiple fresh dishes, in the middle the desert or moutains
Ahmed and his team are genuinely honest, trustworthy, nice people who want to share their culture in a very open way. We learnt about the Bedouin ways, the stars constellations, the food, the culture,and also had the pleasure to hear to folk stories by the fire, at night.
The equipment is modern, the logistics flawless (the cooks/support team and luggage were always there on time, every packed), and we immensely enjoyed this relaxing trip.
The team can adapt the length and difficulty of the hikes depending on your level and/or desires. We got some camel riding ;-) I hear they also organise climbing trips!
I warmly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to live an authentic experience.
We were just 2 tourists on this trip, so you don't have to come as a big group!
Little practical information: the ATMs in St Catherine are mostly defective, and even when they work, you can't draw big amounts of money (limit was 4000 Egyptian liras per transaction, in all the ATMs we found in this part of Egypt!), so you'd rather bring cash from your home country!
