Friendly service but expensive drinks and disappointing food

点评：This establishment was right next door to our accommodation so it seemed a no brainer to visit here initially for a few drinks.
The lady on the front desk couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly as we entered through the front doors.
There was plenty of seating available for an early evening work day and I ordered drinks from the bar where I was served by a friendly face. However, my surprise was to be charged $12.50 for a Stone & Wood Pacific Ale! Seriously, I could comfortably get a cheaper schooner in the middle of Sydney. I changed to cheaper beer for the next round as we decided to order food. I couldn't order meals at the bar and had to go down the stairs and order in the dining area. Again the service was efficient and friendly as we were advised we could eat our meals in the bar area.
The food I collected was disappointing to say the least. Two tiny pieces of battered fish and very dry chips and salad for nigh on $30.
This club is in a great spot and has excellent views over the golf course but the pricing of the drinks and food left a sour taste.
