点评：Visiting MachuPicchu through the Lares Trek was the best choice my family and I could make. We booked from home a few months in advance since we wanted everything to be very well organized and not miss anything, including the visit to MachuPicchu with the best circuit (#2). We booked with Local Trekkers Peru and I just have to say that they exceeded our expectations. starting with our guide Hendrik, who is very knowledgeable about the route and the history and customs of the locals. Hendrik made each day on the trek memorable, explaining to us about everything we could see throughout these 4 days. We learned a lot with him.
Our cook, Paulino, was in charge of feeding us during the trek and his food really exceeded our expectations. 5 different dishes for each lunch and dinner, abundant, fresh and very delicious, by far it was the best food we tried during our stay in Peru. Thank you very much Paulino mi Amigo. We also had our muleteer Rogelio, who helped with all the logistics to make this trek possible. We are grateful to him too. For all those who want to do the Lares Trek with a 100% Local company, Local Trekkers Peru is the right company, with them you will find the perfect balance of adventure, professionalism and fun, plus with them there is nothing hidden or last minute expenses. They fulfill everything they offer.
