点评:I had booked the tree to bar chocolate tour online and we drove here from Grande Anse in the morning. The drive took approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. As we were heading to the north coast afterwards, this was fine for us. As you drive up to the Estate, the car park is just after the entrance on the left. Our guide advised us to wear closed shoes (sneakers or similar). Our guide was Alexander and he was excellent, very personable and friendly. The tour lasted about 2 hours and was followed by lunch in the restaurant. The tour was probably cut short a bit due to the fact that the factory wasn't working (they were waiting for some spare parts). So instead of making our own bars, we were able to choose 2 ready made ones each instead.
Lunch was nice: soup for starters, either fish or chicken for mains and a dessert. The only reason I gave the review 4 rather than 5 stars is that the restaurant staff were quite inflexible. We were very full after the starter and main plus an ice cream drink so we asked whether we could change the dessert for a cup of coffee but had to pay extra for that. I know I wasn't entitled to that but it just felt a bit mean.
