点评：Went on the sunset tour. It was a lot of fun. We had dolphin Dave as our tour guide and he told us about the sites we were seeing along the way. The sunset we saw while we were in front of Bird Island was incredible! It looked like a solar eclipse only with a cloud!! We sadly didn't get to see any dolphins. I guess they haven't been around much this year. I wonder if last year's hurricanes had an effect bc he also said another creature (a bird but I forget the type) usually comes around but hasn't been there this year. We did see an Egrett nest with the babies heads poking out from a distance. The boat was easy to drive and we got to have some fun time doing donuts and swerving around when out in a deeper part of the intercoastal. I would have liked to get to get off on bird island, as there were people there. But I am guessing its too hard to get inexperienced boat drivers back into the water. Don't get there early for the sunset tour or you may think you're in the wrong place. There was no one around and it looks like a boat marina with the CCATS we drive no where in sight. I also understand why the sunset tours are 30min shorter in the shorter daylight seasons, but not sure why on the longest days of the year. We started the tour an hour later bc of the sunset time. Wouldn't 30 min later then make it possible to keep the tour the same length as the others?
