I had an amazing stay at Oseki Maasai Camp and couldn’t recommend it enough. The camp offers excellent value for money, and what really made the experience special was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and they made me feel at home from the moment I arrived.
Dennis organized my entire trip from start to finish. All I had to do was tell him what I wanted to experience, and he took care of everything—transportation, accommodation, meals, and activities. Everything was seamless, and it was clear he works with the best local guides and partners.
The highlight of my trip was the immersive overnight stay in a traditional Maasai manyatta. I experienced authentic Maasai life by milking cows, witnessing traditional cow blood extraction, eating goat, learning about medicinal plants, and trying archery. I was even given a Maasai name, Olo Mayanna, and left with thoughtful gifts including a shuka, a Maasai sword, and beautiful handmade jewelry and ostrich egg ornaments from the Maasai grandmother. Their warmth made me feel like part of the family.
The safari experiences were equally unforgettable. I enjoyed a spectacular hot air balloon ride over the Mara, saw all of the Big Five during a game drive, and even witnessed a cheetah come close to making a successful hunt. Visiting a local school was another memorable part of the trip.
A special thanks to Solomon, who is not only a fantastic guide but also an excellent photographer. He took some incredible photos that I’ll always treasure.
