One of the highlights of our trip to Spain!

点评：My husband and I did a tour and tasting here during our recent holiday in Spain, and it was one of the highlights of our trip!
Montse, one of the owners and winemakers, was wonderful from my first email, kindly doing a tour for us on New Year's Day, in spite of this being a public holiday. We arrived to discover we were the only two doing the tour that day, which was a lovely surprise! Montse welcomed us warmly and gave us an absolutely fascinating tour of her wine cellars and description of the wine and cava making process. It was so interesting and engaging, and we learned so much that we never knew before about the history and evolution of wine making in Spain.
We followed this with a wonderful wine tasting on their beautiful outdoor terrace - we were lucky that it was a warm, sunny day - where we were treated to five generous tastings of their various wines and cavas, accompanied by the most delicious tapas that she and her mother had prepared for us. All of the wines we tasted were fabulous, our favourites being the rose, the cava rose, and the organic cava. And of course we couldn't leave without buying our full duty free allowance of wine to take back home, and at an incredible price.
This was truly a fantastic experience that we will never forget, and I recommend it for anyone - a must do when in the Barcelona area!!
