点评:Usually when in Moonta, one location just has to be visited. That is Moonta’s Antiques & Bric-a-Brac. It is like a journey of discovery to see if I can spot something that I then am tempted to buy. When entering from George Street, it is visual overload. Just where to turn. Being a book freak, I turn left and into the first of two rooms of books. Over the last couple of visits, it is noticeable that a lot of re-organisation has taken place making it far more friendly to fossick around. Well done to the staff.
Out of the books and into the antiques/ bric-a-brac 2 rooms. The one at the back has a wide variety of just about anything – eagled-eyed searching needed here. The front room is more organised with shelving and glass cases full of goodies. A collectors Aladdin’s cave.
The staff here are very friendly and I have found they are willing to go that extra mile to ensure you have options. I would recommend visiting, taking some time for a leisurely walk around and you never know you may find something you thought you hadn’t needed before. PS Confession time - Pretty well every time I go, I walk out with something!
