5-Star Snorkeling Excursion to Coiba National Park

点评：A group of 17 of us spent the day on this fabulous excursion. The morning began with getting our fins and masks and heading straight to the beach launch. We took a fabulous boat ride (in two boats) to the first island, where we hiked up a hill to a gorgeous panorama of the beach below. When we returned to the beach, we headed to the first of three islands for snorkeling. Every stop had the animals the tour company advertised we were likely to see. On our way to the first island we saw dolphins jumping and swimming beside our boat. During each of the three snorkeling adventures, we saw a huge array of beautiful fish and sea creatures. At the 2nd stop we saw sea turtles. And at the third stop, we saw Nurse Sharks. Throughout the day our guides made sure to point out the animals in our midst (sea creatures and Howler Monkeys); they made sure we remained hydrated, and plied us with delicious food and refreshments. Our stop for lunch was on a breathtakingly beautiful beach, where they provided fresh fish, lentils, rice, and salad. They even brought chairs for our comfort. The team from Discover Coiba provided refreshments and cookies as well. We were given watermelon and pineapple between dives, and at the end we were given coconut water straight from the coconut. The guides were all pleasant and keen to make sure we were seeing everything and enjoying ourselves. I want to extend a special thank you and shout-out to Sophia and Enustice (not sure about the spelling). The former was our translator/interpreter, and the later was our Captain. We also had a fabulous aquatic guide, but I didn't get his name. It was an incredible adventure garnering a unanimous 5-star rating from all who took part. Thank you to all our guides and Captains! You are awesome.
