World class sko facilities with a Charming village!!
Thaiwoo Ski Resort - Little Switzerland的点评
点评：Although there is very little information available in English this Ski resort and the facilities are world class and definitely worth the visit for a ski. The reaort is a 3 hour drive west of Beijing although you can catch a high speed train from Beijing to Taizicheng but they arent as frequent as you would imagine. You can either catch a Taxi or a shuttle bus
The resort doesnt look to have a lot of natural snow and if you are looking for Powder or Back country skiing you will be dissappointed but if you are keen on groomed quick runs with no queues (outside of CNY) then this resort is fantastic.
The Language barrier can be overcome by a translating app and everyone I meet was friendly and more than accomodating and it was relatively easy to buy tickets, hire gear.
The Austrian pub at the top of the first gondola has great food, no queues and lots of room infact the day I was there (Saturday) it was half empty. Thaiwoo craft brewery is also a great venue with good Beer and wholesome food (stay away from the garlic bread as it is very dry!!) There is also alot of western fast food like KFC Mc donalds plus chinese food and food stall, trucks. The one thing I was nervous about was the toilets but i was quite amazes they are luxurious clean and all western toilets so no need to squat which is a relief when is ski boots and a whole lot of ski gear!!
I would recommend staying at the Westin, Elements ot Thaiwoo if you want to be right in the village especially if you have children and dont want to travel ar the end of a day
If you decide to stay out of the village, you should use the hotle shuttle service if they provide it as you can wait up to an hour or longer for Didi or a Taxi during peak times in the morning or evening

如果您想住在村子里，我建议您住在威斯汀、Elements 或 Thaiwoo，特别是如果您有孩子，不想在一天结束时出行的话
