State Forest State Park的点评
点评：We had a nice day in the park. We only saw the south end, not the North Michigan Reservoir or the rest of the main park.
The Visitor Center was modest but pleasant. There were three rangers behind the desk, and they were all very nice.
We walked around Ranger Lake. It is lovely mountain scenery and a level walk.
One piece of advice. We brought a picnic. There are no picnic facilities on the map, so we asked the rangers. They responded that there are not very many picnic tables outside of dedicated ones in campsites. He said that there were some near the ruins of the log cabin at Ranger Lakes. We found it easily, but the view wasn't anything special considering where we were. It turns out that there are half a dozen picnic tables closer to the lake itself. So if you bring a picnic, eat there!
