点评：Our goal was just to find one or two fossils, but we got so much more. Not only did we bring home several cool finds, but we had fun doing it too. This was our first time fossil hunting so we weren’t sure what to expect, but we did as Mark suggested and treated it as an educational experience. As others have said, Mark is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor so you feel like your hunting with a friend and not a mentor.
You meet at a public location where Mark explains a little about what to look for and shows some examples. He provides all equipment. Once at the site, Mark will give you tips on where to hunt and things to watch out for.
Mark’s a really interesting person to talk to and has all kinds of cool experiences to share, his prices are fair and he’s extremely knowledgeable. We would definitely do this again if we’re in the area.
