I lived my childhood dream of a safari!

点评：It was my life dream to experience an African safari. I was blessed to spend 7 weeks in this amazing country, and met the most incredible human spirit. Malachi from Chef Safari was so welcoming and understood my excitement for this experience. We spent 4 days with him and his team showing us the sites of his country and the safari with the overnight stay in the park surrounded by the wildlife. Our dinner was on the open plains and we witnessed the majestic ritual of the animals each taking their turns at the open watering hole. It was like Noah's Ark. Each respecting the other species time to refresh and replenish. A literal truce it seemed like. It was life- changing. We also had the privilege of meeting some members of Maasi tribe. Learning local dances and just soaking in the entire energy of the thousands of years of history and culture. The park itself is only identifed by the entrance gate. Once through, it is open plains. The animals we're abundant, and I literally cried when I saw my first. It was a family of giraffes. So close we could almost touch them. The day was filled with knowledge of the animals, cultural information and sites like the bau bau tree where we are lunch and just we're allowed to embrace the experience.
We were so excited that we experienced 4 of the BIG 5. Chef Safari, especially Malachi has made this experiece so impactful, that we will return to see more, and do more with the local people and embrace the culture and learn more from it.
The team was fun, and shared in our exitement, answering all our questions, and I asked ad many questions as I could. It was an all around life changing experience for me, from start to finish. 5 stars!
