点评:The staff at Agana base are brilliant from top to bottom. Mirna who did our chart briefing knows everything about the area and everyone worth knowing and can provide a list of contacts to help with your itinerary. Our 40' catamaran was well maintained with the exception of a faulty anchor light.
A couple of things to note for sailors from North America. Firstly, you need to have formal, internationally recognized sailing qualifications. An ICC and an SRC VHF license are both required to skipper a boat. Otherwise, you'll need a skipper. Secondly, you need to be very comfortable with driving the boat backwards and Mediterranean mooring as that's how it's done in every marina.
Also, be aware that it's necessary to make marina and, quite often, restaurant reservations in advance and both can be quite pricy particularly when they're the only game in town.
All in all, Croatia is a beautiful country where pretty much everyone under the age of 40 speaks English fluently and will go out of their way to be helpful. We'll definitely be back!
