15 Days Trip Of Ethiopia

点评：We returned two days ago from a 15-day trip to Ethiopia that included the southern tribes, the Danakil Desert, as well as Gondar and Lalibela.
We were two older couples.
The organizer and operator of the trip was Emanuel.
Emanuel planned the entire trip and was with us the whole time, even when we arrived at the airport at five in the morning for a flight. We always felt there was someone we could rely on and someone who could handle any issues that might come up, especially dealing with the many checkpoints you encounter every half hour while driving. All the drivers arranged by Emanuel were very skilled, which is important given the road conditions in Ethiopia.
Emanuel can explain many things during the drives, but he is not a guide in the way we are used to. He works with excellent local guides, which I believe is required by law in Ethiopia. Everywhere we went, the local guides were outstanding.
I definitely recommend Emanuel, and if I travel to Ethiopia again, I would be happy to use his services again.

Receive confirmations for domestic flights. It is highly recommended to use internal flights. If a flight from Gondar to Lalibela is booked, make sure it is actually operating, as the airline tends to cancel flights on this route.
During the trip, check that the hotels are the same ones listed in the itinerary.
During the trip, make sure that any change to the plan is communicated to the travelers as soon as Emanuel receives the information.
If you are used to walking sticks, it is highly recommended to bring them.
