点评:Picked this place out of a list of ethical sanctuaries in Chiang Mai. Now having been there I question the ethical part. I have no complaints about the people. They were all nice and gave good information and the elephants seemed well cared for. We saw no signs of abuse or forcing the elephants to do anything. However a few things bothered me. One, they appear to breed the elephants as there is a baby there and an elephant who is pregnant. Most ethical sanctuaries do not engage in breeding. And they did not state that they came to them pregnant. This place also lets you bathe the animal which we did not partake for multiple reasons. We did the full day program which did not feel rushed and at times it was a bit disorganized but still relaxing to watch the elephants just roam around. We enjoyed our time here but if you are looking for a true ethical experience there are probably better ones out there.
