点评：We first visited the Zafrana Boutique Winery back in July 2025 for a private wine tasting experience. On arriving we were met by the wonderful Priscilla, who is the Cellar Brand Ambassador for Markus Divinus Wines and taken on a tour of the Winery. Priscilla gave us a thorough and interesting explanation of how they produce the wines, the fermentation and bottling process, along with the history of the Winery and how it all began with Mark (the owner) over 20 years ago. The Zafrana Winery produces less than 6000 bottles annually, with each bottle produced being individually numbered. We then moved on to the wine tasting, with Priscilla giving us the background to each of the wines we tasted. And wow!!! did they taste impressive, showing the commitment to excellence and quality the Winery puts into each bottle. Priscilla is so enthusiastic and passionate about the wines, and after sampling them, you can understand why. We later met Mark and his passion, enthusiasm and dedication to producing exceptional wines is clearly evident. This was a fantastic experience, and we had a great time. We fell in love with the Winery and the Markus Divinus wines so much, that we wanted to share our experience with family and friends and booked the Winery for an evening get-together with all our wedding guests on the eve of our wedding in June 2026. This pre wedding celebration, which included a traditional Maltese grazing table and canapes, a musician, flowers and of course wine tasting and tours of the Winery, was perfectly organised by Priscilla and Mark, and it was a fabulous and memorable start for both us and our guests to our wedding celebrations. The Team at Zafrana Boutique Winery really know what they are doing when it comes to producing exceptional wines, and we would highly recommend any of the wine or winery / vineyard experiences offered by the Winery to all those who either love fine wines or are just wine curious!
