A Gem of a Place!
Wood Brothers Distillery的点评
点评：My husband and I had booked to stay in a nearby hotel and happened to come across the distillery while looking for nearby places to visit. Being a lover of gin and of aircraft, I was drawn in by the Spitfire reference on the logo, the very close proximity to the airbase - and the gin of course, so booked a tour for us both.
I am so pleased that I did, what a fantastic place it is! Firstly, we were welcomed very warmly by Charlie who told us all about the history of the farm and how they have diversified and created the distillery keeping the family farm alive. The tour was fascinating with samples to try along the way and although we were the only ones there, we weren’t rushed at all and both Charlie and Ed were friendly and down to earth making us feel very welcome.
I highly recommend visiting the Wood Brothers Distillery, it’s a truly lovely family-run business. The gins and the vodkas are exceptional, naturally we bought some to take home. We hope to visit again one day!
