点评：We visited Saturday morning Jan 2025. We paid the £9.50 admission each but then told that the land rovers were not running today and the pub will only be open at 12 for a couple of hours.
We started the walk down the cobbles around 10.30am. Literally nothing was open despite signs saying they were opening at 10am. None of the craft workshops were open and you couldnt buy handmade gifts! The chapel was shut
The fisherman's cottage was shut. The museum was shut.
Lots of the shops are empty. There was literally nothing to see or happening except the sea. So we walked back to the top. On the way back the museum, cottage and chapel had opened albeit late. They are all very small. I am not sure "museum" would be an accurate description for what we saw.
Overall we were pretty disappointed. There was no reduction in admission fee despite it not being fully open. No food was obviously available and we were told to get a coffee in the visitor centre before walking down if we wanted a drink. It didn't look overly appealing. I expected to see some local produce / crafts. The "gift shops" are just full of plastic tat and more in line with a service station. Some of the buildings were in pretty poor shape and could do with some tlc.
We also visited the gardens which was included in the admission fee. It literally took about 5 mins. The plants for sale were in a bad way and the whole thing looked like it needed a good tidy up. A tennis court covered in rubbish! And left over xmas decorations.I certainly wouldn't bother paying a fiver to visit which is how much they expect if you just visit this.
It a bold claim to say this is one of the best tourist attractions in the UK. We wouldn't bother again.

说这是英国最好的旅游景点之一，真是太大胆了。我们不会再来了。
