Call Of The Wild Zoo的点评
点评：Visited Bank Holiday Monday…
We arrived about 10.30 and had to wait for the rest of the group to join us, I was surprised to see some people already leaving ….bit odd.
The others arrived and we made our way in …. First impressions on the inside of the building were good.
Sadly though some outdoor parts of this site are “ under construction “ and there are areas that are just a patch of rubble.
The animals are mainly small although there are some zebras and servals.
The petting zoo I seem to recall from our last visit seems to have gone.
The otters weren’t seen, but judging by the state of the water, they’ve not been there for a while.
We saw one rabbit, no squirrels?
The Meerkats were a favourite as usual.
The Wild Heights arena Show was looking promising…. We saw the small owl, and the Goat, and given information…. Unfortunately the show ended abruptly when the Harrier Hawk preferred to sit in the tree, rather than performing!
All in all the place seems to be trying to “upgrade” and is very run down and tatty in places …. I would say in its present form it’s overpriced for what it offers.
We found it hard to fill 3 hours and half an hour of that was the kids outdoor playground and another half hour in the soft play.
Now for the worst … the soft play …
Whilst in the soft play the toddler in our group was being closely watched by his mother … she noticed a little girl playing nearby “ had a bit of a accident” and had left a puddle of pee on the mat.
That child left, however the puddle did not.
Our toddler was taken out before any contact with said puddle.
The staff behind the counter were made aware, and the circumstances explained, and their response was to
Claim it was “ rainwater from the roof “ which leaks …. Nice!
We left.

总而言之，这个地方似乎在试图“升级”，有些地方非常破败不堪……我想说，就其目前的状况而言，它提供的服务而言，价格过高。
我们发现很难玩够这三个小时，其中半小时是在儿童户外游乐场，另外半小时是在软体游乐场。
现在说说最糟糕的……软体游乐场……
在软体游乐场的时候，我们团里一个蹒跚学步的孩子正被他妈妈密切关注着……她注意到附近玩耍的一个小女孩“出了点小意外”，在垫子上留下了一滩尿。
那个孩子走了，但那滩尿还在。
我们的小孩在接触到那滩尿之前就被带走了。
柜台后面的工作人员被告知了情况，解释了情况，他们的回应是
声称是“屋顶上的雨水”漏了……太好了！
我们离开了。
