An afternoon of two halves…
Spa at Summer Lodge的点评
点评：I have always wanted to come to this spa as it’s highly thought of locally…
The first half was really wonderful. We had a scrumptious cream team and the staff in the lounge were attentive and courteous. We made our way up to the spa and it was extremely quiet (calm before the storm) and we enjoyed the facilities before it was time for our treatments.
We all had wonderful massages. Thank you.
At just gone 4pm it all changed…
A large family with young children arrived who were hotel residents. They couldn’t use the facilities until 4.30pm (children can use facilities up until 10.30am and after 4.30pm) so they waited to the side standing on sun beds, making full use of the refreshments, dropping fruit on the floor and then putting it back in the bowl!
4.30pm arrived and they hit the pool - literally! Jumping in (even diving at one point despite the signs), screaming and shouting at the top of their voices and turning what was a relaxing experience into the complete opposite. We gave up using the pool as it wasn’t pleasant swimming next to children who were swigging and spitting out pool water and not being in the slightest bit respectful. I will add some other families also came in and they were completely respectful.
I noticed one user give up completely after telling off the family and she left.
I have never been to a spa that allows young children to use the facilities (be it limited). A spa is somewhere to relax and be pampered - this turned into a leisure complex.
Really disappointed as this was a special occasion. I won’t be returning.

下午4:30到了，他们就去泳池了——真的！他们跳进泳池（甚至一度不顾标识跳水），大声尖叫，把原本轻松的体验变成了完全相反的体验。我们放弃了泳池，因为在孩子们旁边游泳很不舒服，他们不停地喝水，吐着池水，一点也不尊重孩子。不过，我还注意到其他一些家庭也来了，他们非常尊重孩子。
我注意到一个用户在训斥了那个家庭后就彻底放弃了，然后就离开了。
我从来没有去过允许幼儿使用设施的水疗中心（尽管设施有限）。水疗中心是放松身心、享受呵护的地方——这里却变成了一个休闲中心。
真的很失望，毕竟这是一次特殊的经历。我不会再来了。
