Scotland and Canada make music together

点评：Our brood landed upon the Anchor on an open mic Sunday.
The group of regular patrons seemed mildly suspicious that such a large group had come to disturb their quiet night of local talent,until we said we were Canadians and we were going to play some Gordon Lightfoot and Tragically hip, and were here on holiday. We wanted to import some Canadiana into the town we chose to visit for a week.
Well everything changed from that moment on.
Scottish cheering "elbows up"
The kindred spirit of Scottish and Canadians became palpable.
We then went on to jam with a group of locals in the pub for hours.
The sense of generous community and hospitality amongst the people in this town is something that
has all but vanished from the planet.
A very rare place indeed.
A very special night for all of my family.
