Lovely way to spend a Sunday

点评：I support organic farming and was excited to have the opportunity to visit this farm. Booking was seamless. The way to the farm was a bit tricky, even with the instructions on the website, and the signage to the farm could be better. However, when we got there, we appreciated the warm welcome and were delighted to see the charming accommodation and the art around the premises. The tour took about two hours because we stopped a lot to ask questions about the plants, to request our guides to help us harvest some vegetables and to take photos. We were famished by lunchtime and were rewarded with a healthy and delicious meal that included beef meatballs and chicken sausages for those of us who were not vegetarians. I can imagine that kids would love to play with the animals in addition to walking walking around the farm. We didn't do the forest walk after lunch but would like to do it the next time we visit.
If you know the way, it's an easy hour's drive from Nairobi (or less). The entrance fee (KES3K), which includes the tour and lunch, is good value for money, as was the fee for a basket of vegetables (KES1K). You'll be more than happy to leave a tip for your guides, as they will do all the hard work of harvesting your veggies, herbs and a few berries for you.
