Wonderful views over Loch Carron and Loch Kishorn
Carn Na Frith-aird Viewpoint的点评
点评：On our first morning in Plockton we decided to explore the local sights accessible on foot. Leaving the car park at The Plockton Visitor Centre it is about a 15 minute walk along Harbour Street, past the village hall and then left, up a slight incline onto Frithard Road. Carry on to the end of the road until it becomes Camas An Arbhair. After a further 25 yds you will see a sign for Carn na Frith-aird Viewpoint.
The initial incline after the path at the signpost for the start is not for the fainthearted nor the weak-kneed but it is well worth the effort as you reach the top of the hill. You will find a couple of benches plus a very informative Plockton Viewpoint display detailing all the mountains and lochs in view. [see photos]
Our dog loved the walk but I would not suggest it was easy for young children or those with mobility issues.
