A fantastic day out and Christmas tradition.

点评：We visited Stourbridge Glass Museum on Saturday 6th December for their bauble decorating workshop, and it seemed more popular than ever. This was our third year attending, and it has truly become a tradition we look forward to every year.
The baubles are always fantastic quality, and my son absolutely loves choosing the decorations for his design. Even though the event is busy, it never feels rushed—you’re given plenty of time to make sure your bauble is just right. While waiting for the bauble to be sandblasted, you have the opportunity to watch the glassmakers at work, which is one of my favourite parts of the experience. It’s fascinating to see their skill up close.
Afterwards, you can have your bauble engraved, and there’s also the chance to purchase additional baubles from Terri—another highlight for me! She’s happy to personalise these too, which makes them extra special.
The museum itself is brilliant, with so many wonderful pieces on display and a great insight into the history of the glass industry. The hot chocolate as you walk around is always a big hit as well!
We look forward to this event every year and would highly recommend it to everyone. We can’t wait for 2026 already!
