Beautiful building - worth a stop

点评：A great way to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon.
Amazingly, despite visiting in late July, the number of visitors was small meaning it was great to experience at our own pace.
Beautiful gatehouse immediately grabs your attention and the chateau itself is beautiful. Not every room is heavily furnished meaning you can visit the entire interior in around an hour or less.
Grounds are wonderful with great photo opportunities from every angle. If you’re travelling with younger visitors, unless they are into their history, there isn’t much to grab their attention so you may want to bear that in mind - it’s not the sort of place for children to run around, although there is a play park close to the gatehouse.
Admission fee is excellent value for money at €8pp ( as of July 2026). Small shop with very friendly staff.
TIP: There’s no cafe on site, you can’t even purchase a bottle of water in the shop so bear that in mind if visiting on a hot day.
If you like exploring chateaux and the like, this is definitely worth adding to your list.
