Ugandian Rolex forever! Sweet memories, Africa in our hearts

点评：What a trip! Patrick Yiga, our guide and excellent driver, picked us up at Kigali Airport, started the journey with lunch at the epic Mille Collines hotel, known for its good role in the horrendous genocide. Of course we visited the memorial, which is hard to take.
Well, Patrick, good humoured Ugandian, joined us for the next 7 days, always there, when we needed whatever support you could think of.
We went to see the Gorillas, which was awesome, our guide that trekking was a brillant man namend Patience and it his merit alone that our youngest daughter overcame her fear. I will never forget that. Patience is the man.
We stayed at Sambora. Outstanding staff, but one of a kind was their chef, who produced dishes in his kitchen that could stand up to highest expectations. He and his team definetely play a vital role in the African League of cooking. Mouthwatering still.
We had probably a dozen shorter flights, transfers, nice, not too fancy hotels,
people were very friendly, full of hospitality and eager to get in contact.
Saw lots of Golden Monkeys, visited the Batwa people, who had to leave their home in the jungle so they would not interfere with the Gorilla business (that actually was a good encounter with the Batwa, but makes you quite sad of their lives today, instead of hunting in the rainforest, they are forced to live outside, grow potatoes)
Specially liked the road trips, crossing the border from Ruanda and Uganda was travel adventure, everything, well prepared by Nkuringo and Patrick, went smoothly and absolutely safe.
Then Patrick introduced us to the Ugandian Rolex, a fine dish for $1, who can grab everywhere along the road.
Well, I can highly recommend Nkuringo Safaris and if I would go there again,
would make sure, that Patrick would take such good care of my family and I.

我们大概坐了十几次短途航班，转机，住的酒店也不错，不算太豪华。
当地人非常友好热情，乐于助人，渴望与我们交流。
我们看到了很多金丝猴，还拜访了巴特瓦人。他们为了不干扰大猩猩的狩猎活动，不得不离开丛林中的家园（与巴特瓦人的这次会面其实挺好的，但想到他们如今的生活，不禁让人感到难过。他们不再能在雨林中狩猎，而是被迫生活在户外，种植土豆）。
我特别喜欢公路旅行，从卢旺达到乌干达的边境之旅本身就是一次冒险。Nkuringo 和 Patrick 的安排非常周到，一切都进行得很顺利，也绝对安全。
之后，Patrick 向我们介绍了“乌干达劳力士”（Ugandian Rolex），这是一种美味的小吃，只要 1 美元，而且在路边随处可见。
总之，我强烈推荐 Nkuringo Safaris 旅行社。如果我再次前往，
我一定会再次选择 Patrick，让他像照顾家人一样照顾我和我的家人。
