点评：We had intended to go up river, but Geoff who showed around the lovely old boat called Bernadette 11 advised to down river. he was right. 4 days of great fun, cruising past Wallingford, where the 3rd largest castle once stood, along great shops and eateries; Goring on thames, otters and kingfishers to spot if you are lucky, Henley on Thames and its historic regatta. We got to Hurley, where the swan Upping was taking place, so turned around. The volunteer and full time lock keepers were very helpful as were other people on the river.
Its a great way to unwind and see sights along the way, mooring u along the riverbank, getting out and exploring.
The boat itself was comfortable and very easy to steer and very well equipped.
The company Bygone boating were very relaxed and nothing was too much for them.
